An Inspiring Designer/Maker

Through my blog I would like to share with you the reader some of the designers/makers that have inspired me. So lets begin, the first I would like to talk about is the brilliant designer/maker Donna Wilson who runs her own homeware label. Donna Wilson is a knitwear designer and I just love her quirky illustrations her brilliant use of colour and the line markings she creates on her quirky creatures. Here is a selection of Donna Wilson’s cushions that I really like, you can find all of these on her shop page here

Her bio taken from Our Story on her website states – Originally from Scotland, Donna Wilson set up her company in 2003 after making odd knitted creatures for her final show at the Royal College of Art. She has since built her business designing and making a collection of curious cushions, luxurious lambswool blankets, and variety of products for you and your home. Here again is a selection of these lovely quirky creatures and they can be bought through her online shop here
